Frankenweenie Not exactly a child’s film and not exactly an adult one, Tim Burton’s enlivened story of a kid and his (restored) canine went generally inconspicuous. Which is a disgrace, since it’s his best film in almost 20 years.

Amour

before, I’ve taken solid special case for chief Michael Haneke’s film of limit. Yet, here he continues not from a blood and gore flick premise but rather from a generally very normal feature of present day senescence and mortality.

Silver Linings Playbook

Frankenweenie

Like its heroes, David O. Russell’s film is wonderfully wrong, at any rate until it drifts in for a more ordinary end.

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence show that they have both, in their individual ways and at their particular speeds, grown up as entertainers.

The Master
